Google rankings and AI mentions for every keyword

One call returns a row per keyword with its average Google position, the trend against the previous period, how often each AI engine names your brand, where in the answer, and your share of voice against tracked competitors. Filter by engine, country, cluster or text, sort by any metric, and ask for CSV with an Accept header when the rows go straight into a sheet.

Daily rank history, with competitors on the same axis

Every tracked query keeps its history: Google organic and Shopping positions, mention position, link position, mention rate, sentiment and share of voice, bucketed daily, weekly or monthly. Add competitor ids and each point carries their numbers too, so a chart of who gained ground is one request. Positions are 1-based and a null means nothing was captured that day, never a zero.

Add and schedule keywords from your own code

Create tracked queries as a cross product: three keywords on two engines in two countries are twelve checks, created in one call. Choose daily, weekly or monthly checks, group them into clusters, pause or resume them in bulk, and check how many monthly checks a configuration will consume before you commit. Every write takes an Idempotency-Key, so a retry never tracks the same keyword twice.

1. What is a rank tracker API?

A rank tracker API gives programmatic access to keyword ranking data: the position of your pages for each keyword, its history and the competitors around it. You use it to feed your own dashboards, automate client reports or join rankings with analytics and revenue data, instead of exporting files from a rank tracking tool by hand.

2. Is a rank tracker API the same as a SERP API?

No. A SERP API fetches a live results page on demand and leaves storing, matching and charting to you. A rank tracker API sits on top of a tracking schedule: the checks run on their own, results are matched to your domains and competitors, and the API returns positions, history and trends ready to use. Mencoro also exposes the captured result pages if you want the raw data.

3. Which search engines does the Mencoro API cover?

Google organic results and Google Shopping, plus the AI engines Mencoro tracks: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Each keyword can be tracked on any of them in any supported country, and the API returns each engine separately.

4. How much does the API cost?

There is no separate API plan. The API reads and changes the same projects as the app, and you pay for the checks your tracked keywords run, from €15 a month for 200 checks. See pricing for the calculator.

5. What are the rate limits?

600 requests per user and 300 per API key every 60 seconds. Above that the API answers 429 with a Retry-After header. Listings return up to 100 rows per page, and history is kept for 16 months.

6. Is there an SDK or an MCP server?

Yes. Official clients exist for Python, TypeScript, PHP, Go, Java, .NET and Ruby, all generated from the public OpenAPI contract. To query the same data from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor without writing code, connect the Mencoro MCP server.
