What daily rank tracking is for

Daily rank tracking, also called position tracking or SEO rank monitoring, checks where your site ranks on Google for every keyword you care about, once a day and in the country you target, and keeps the result so you can see how it moves. A position tracking tool does it without the personalization that skews a search you run yourself. It is useful for four things:

  • Measuring your SEO work: new content, a migration or a link building campaign shows up in the position curve.

Track keyword ranking fluctuations and algorithm updates

A single position says little on its own. Mencoro scores the stability of every keyword as the standard deviation of its daily Google position, over the last 14 days in the query table, so you can tell normal movement from a ranking that is coming apart.
