Once connected, your AI assistant can query your Mencoro projects directly. Ask for a board-ready summary of how your brand shows up in AI answers this month. Ask what changed since last week, which queries moved the most, or where a competitor is gaining ground. No dashboard digging, no CSV exports. The assistant pulls live data from Mencoro and answers in the same conversation where you already work.

The MCP server exposes the full dataset: share of voice, mention rate, positivity index, mention positions, the five mention types, competitor co-occurrence, cited sources, keyword clusters, countries, and per-engine results across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, and Google SERP. Your assistant can cross these however you ask, from a single query's history to a portfolio-wide sentiment report.

Secure access tokens you create and revoke

Access works through personal tokens, not shared passwords. Create a token in Mencoro, add it to your MCP client, and revoke it the moment you no longer need it. Each token has an expiry date, shows when it was last used, and can be scoped to all your organizations or just one. Treat tokens like passwords: anyone holding one can read your data until you revoke it.

How to connect your AI assistant

Setup takes a few minutes and does not require code. The configuration screen in Mencoro gives you a ready-made snippet for each supported client.

  1. Create an access token. In your Mencoro settings, generate a personal token and choose its scope and expiry.
  2. Add it to your AI assistant. Pick your MCP client, copy the configuration, and replace the placeholder with your token.
  3. Ask about your data in plain language. Start with one of the example prompts below, or write your own.

FAQ

MCP server questions

Common questions about connecting AI assistants
to your Mencoro data.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. An MCP server exposes a dataset or service so that clients like Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT can query it during a conversation. The Mencoro MCP server exposes your brand-visibility data, so your assistant can answer questions about rankings, mentions, and share of voice with live numbers instead of guesses.
Any client that supports the Model Context Protocol. That includes Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT, plus other MCP-compatible tools and custom agents. You pick your client in Mencoro, copy the ready-made configuration, and replace the placeholder with your access token.
Access requires a personal token that you create in Mencoro. Tokens can be revoked at any time, carry an expiry date, and can be scoped to all your organizations or a single one. The server provides read access to your visibility data: your assistant can query metrics but cannot change your projects or settings. Treat tokens like passwords and revoke any token you no longer use.
Everything Mencoro tracks: share of voice, mention rate, positivity index, mention positions, the five mention types, competitor comparisons, cited sources and domains, keyword clusters, countries, and results per engine across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, and Google SERP. You can also ask about your setup itself, like which engines and competitors are configured or how fresh the data is.
Most SEO MCP servers expose classic SEO data: backlinks, keyword volumes, crawl results, or Search Console metrics. The Mencoro MCP server exposes AI visibility data, meaning how AI engines mention, rank, and describe your brand versus competitors. If your question is about what ChatGPT or Google AI says about you, a traditional SEO dataset cannot answer it.
No. Setup takes three steps: create an access token in Mencoro, paste the ready-made configuration for your client, and start asking questions in plain language. Developers who want to build custom integrations can also connect any MCP-compatible client directly to the server.
