Why look for an Otterly.AI alternative
- 15 prompts on Lite, and the next plan is $189 for 100.
- Engine add-ons. AI Mode and Gemini cost $9 to $149 a month each, Claude $29 to $439.
- API and MCP from Standard. Lite has no API, MCP, agent analytics or Looker Studio connector.
- Learning curve and design. G2’s summary of reviews mentions a learning curve adapting to the metrics and a cluttered design.

The best Otterly.AI alternatives
Mencoro
Mencoro starts lower than Otterly’s Lite, at €15 a month, and includes AI Mode, the API and an MCP server on every plan. You pay per check, one query on one engine in one country per run, so 50 prompts on one engine checked weekly fit in the €15 plan. It tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview and AI Mode, plus the Google SERP and Shopping, and classifies every mention into five types with a sentiment score. It does not track Copilot, Gemini or Claude.
Peec AI
Peec AI gives 50 daily prompts on three models of your choice for €85 a month, with unlimited users and strong source analytics. Extra models are add-ons and the API is Enterprise only.
LLMrefs
LLMrefs gives 500 prompts on 11 engines, AI Mode and Claude included, for $79 a month, with an API and unlimited projects and seats. Reports are weekly and prompts are generated from your keywords.
SE Visible
SE Visible gives 200 prompts on five engines, AI Mode and Gemini included, for $99 a month ($79 billed yearly), with an API, daily refresh and a 10-day trial, across seven countries.
Rankscale
Rankscale covers more than 17 engines on every plan, each at its own credit cost. Essentials starts at $20 a month and Pro costs $99 for 1,200 credits with page audits and an MCP server.
Keyword.com
Keyword.com sells AI visibility in credits from $9.80 a month, with the API and an MCP server on every plan, and a combined Google and AI plan from $33 a month.
AthenaHQ
AthenaHQ has a free plan with 300 credits on five engines, and Starter, at $295 a month, covers 11 engines with content actions and prompt volumes.
HubSpot AEO
HubSpot AEO costs $50 a month for 25 prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, with sentiment, citation analysis and prioritized recommendations, and does not require a HubSpot subscription. HubSpot still calls it a beta.
How to choose
- If you need AI Mode without an add-on, Mencoro, SE Visible and LLMrefs include it.
- If you need an API below $189, Mencoro, LLMrefs, SE Visible and Keyword.com include one.
- If you need Copilot, Otterly.AI is one of the few that include it on every plan; Keyword.com and Rankscale sell it in credits.
