The best Claude rank trackers, compared

A Claude rank tracker tells you whether Claude names your brand when buyers ask it the questions that matter in your market, how often, and next to which competitors. Fewer tools track Claude than ChatGPT, and the ones that do price it very differently: some include it, some charge several times the usual rate per run, and some keep it for enterprise contracts.

This comparison covers the tools that track Claude today, what a Claude run costs on each, and the questions to ask before you pay. We build one of them, Mencoro. Prices and engine lists come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked on 2 October 2026.

What a Claude rank tracker measures

Claude produces prose, and slightly different prose on every run, so a tracker has to work statistically. The metrics that hold up are the same as in any LLM rank tracker:

  • Mention rate. The share of runs where your brand appears at all for a prompt. See mention rate.
  • Position within the answer. Whether you lead the recommendation or close a list of five.
  • Mention type and sentiment. A recommendation, a listing and a passing reference lead to different actions, and so does being named as the expensive option.
  • Sources. When Claude searches, the pages it cites are the ones you can influence. When it does not, there is nothing to cite, and that is worth knowing too.
  • Share of voice. Your presence against named competitors on the same prompts. See share of voice.

SE Ranking's SE Visible says Claude “will be added soon”, and Semrush's self-serve AI toolkits do not list it, so neither tracks Claude on a standard plan today.

1. Mencoro

Mencoro tracks Claude in the same project as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode and the classic Google SERP, each engine separately. Every mention gets a mention type and a sentiment score, share of voice is weighted by how each brand is mentioned, and the sources are recorded per answer: the pages Claude cites and the ones it consulted, with your own domains marked. Claude is available in 36 countries and you turn it on per query. Every plan includes it, from €15 a month for 200 checks; a Claude pass counts as five checks, so that plan covers ten weekly Claude prompts with one pass each. The Claude view lives in the Claude rank tracker, and the data is also available through the API and the MCP server.

2. LLMrefs

LLMrefs has one plan, $79 a month for 500 prompts with weekly reports, and includes all of its 11 engines, Claude among them, with no additional fees. It is the simplest flat price if you want Claude, Grok, Meta AI and DeepSeek without counting credits.

3. Rankscale

Rankscale tracks one of the broadest engine lists in the category and prices every engine in credits. A Claude run costs 2 credits, against 0.25 for ChatGPT, AI Mode, Perplexity or Gemini. Pro is $99 a month for 1,200 credits.

4. Keyword.com

Keyword.com adds AI visibility to its Google rank tracker, priced in credits from $9.80 a month billed yearly for 20 credits. A Claude prompt costs 3 credits per update, against 0.25 for most engines, so ten weekly Claude prompts use 120 credits a month by its own calculator. A good fit for agencies that already track Google positions there.

5. Otterly.AI

Otterly.AI includes ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, and sells Claude as an add-on: $29 a month on Lite (15 prompts), $109 on Standard and $439 on Premium. See the Otterly.AI alternatives for the rest of its plans.

6. LLM Pulse

LLM Pulse includes ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini, and sells Claude as an add-on: €25 a month for weekly checks or €65 for daily ones on Starter (€49 a month for 50 prompts), and €50 or €195 on Growth.

7. Ahrefs Brand Radar

Brand Radar's ready-made database covers Google and the main chat engines, and Claude is available only in Custom Prompts, from $50 a month, where it consumes 8 checks per update. It makes sense if your keyword and backlink data already lives in Ahrefs.

8. Nightwatch

Nightwatch is a Google rank tracker with AI tracking on every plan. Starter is €79 a month billed yearly for 500 keywords and 50 AI prompts, with 1,500 AI answers a month shared across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode and AI Overviews.

9. Trakkr

Trakkr tracks eight engines, Claude included, with no add-ons or per-model fees. Growth is $100 a month for one brand and 50 prompts checked daily.

10. AthenaHQ

AthenaHQ covers 11 engines and charges one credit per AI response, Claude included, from the $295 Starter plan with 3,600 credits. Its free plan does not include Claude. See the AthenaHQ alternatives.

11. Profound, Peec AI and Scrunch

All three track Claude, but only on enterprise contracts with custom pricing. Peec AI's self-serve plans let you pick three engines from a list that does not include Claude, Profound's trial covers ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews, and Scrunch's Core plan supports four engines without Claude. Compare them in Peec AI vs Profound.

12. Free Claude rank checkers

Geoptie, Sellm and LPagery run a single Claude check without an account; Sellm caps it at three checks a day. Treat them as a sample, not a measurement: one run of one prompt cannot tell you how often Claude names you.

How to choose

  • Price Claude per run, not per plan. Multiply your prompts by passes and frequency, then by each tool's Claude rate. A cheap plan can cost several times more once Claude is switched on.
  • Check that Claude is on your plan. Several well-known tools keep it for enterprise contracts or sell it as an add-on.
  • Track Claude next to the other engines. Your visibility can differ sharply between Claude and ChatGPT, and a single-engine view hides that.
  • Look for sources and mention quality. A count cannot tell a recommendation from a passing reference, and only the cited pages tell you what to fix.
  • Check the countries. Ask where Claude can be tracked for your market before you build a prompt set around it.

What to track once you have picked one

Start with the twenty to forty prompts buyers actually use to describe their problem, add the competitors you expect to see and leave the set alone for a quarter so the trend means something. Read the sources every month, and make sure Claude-SearchBot can reach your pages: Anthropic warns that blocking it may reduce your visibility in Claude's search results.

If you want Claude in the same project as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI, with mention quality rather than counts, that is what Mencoro's Claude rank tracker does. For tools across every engine, see the best LLM rank trackers and the best AI visibility tools.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

A Claude rank tracker runs a fixed set of prompts through Claude on a schedule and records whether your brand is named in the answer, in what position, in what terms, and which sources back the answer. Claude writes prose rather than a list of links, so the tracker measures presence and prominence across repeated runs instead of a position on a page.
Most tools charge more for a Claude run than for a ChatGPT or Perplexity run. On the pricing pages we checked on 2 October 2026, a Claude run counted as five checks on Mencoro, eight on Rankscale and Ahrefs Brand Radar, and twelve on Keyword.com, compared with other engines on the same plan. Others sell Claude as a monthly add-on or keep it for enterprise plans.
When Claude searches the web, its answer cites the pages it quotes. When it answers from what it already knows, there are no sources. A good tracker records both cases, so you can tell the prompts where your pages are cited from the ones where your brand depends on how the web already describes it.
Weekly is enough for most brands, daily for launches or campaigns. Answers vary between runs, so a consistent cadence on a stable prompt set matters more than raw frequency.
Yes, several sites run a single Claude check without an account. They are useful for a first look, not for a trend: one run of one prompt on one day says nothing about how often you appear.
